Hugo Morales (footballer)

Hugo Eduardo Morales (born July 30, 1974) is an Argentine former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.

Morales began his career in Argentina with Huracán in 1993, where he quickly established himself as a talented attacking midfielder. His performances attracted attention from other clubs, and in 1996 he joined Lanús. He played for Lanús until 2000, winning the Copa CONMEBOL in 1996.

In 2000, Morales moved to Spain to play for Tenerife. He subsequently returned to Argentina, playing for Independiente and Millonarios. He also had spells at Universidad Católica in Chile.

Morales was known for his technical skill, passing ability, and vision on the field. He possessed a good range of passing and was capable of scoring goals from midfield.

After retiring from professional football, Morales has been involved in coaching and youth development.
