Heart Trouble (album)

Heart Trouble is the debut album by American country music artist Martina McBride. It was released in 1992 by RCA Records. The album spawned four singles, although only one, "The Time Has Come," managed to reach the Top 40 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart, peaking at number 23. The other singles, "That's Me," "Heart Trouble," and "My Baby Loves Me," failed to achieve significant chart success. Despite its initial lukewarm reception, Heart Trouble established McBride as a promising new female vocalist in the country music scene and laid the groundwork for her later commercial breakthrough with subsequent albums. The album's sound is rooted in traditional country with hints of contemporary pop influences.
