HMS H31

HMS H31 was a British H-class submarine of the Royal Navy. She served during World War II.

Operational History:

HMS H31 was commissioned in 1918. As with other H-class submarines, she primarily served in home waters and engaged in patrols in the North Sea and English Channel during the later stages of World War I and in the interwar period. These patrols aimed to detect and deter enemy submarine activity.

While specific details of many of her individual patrols are scarce due to the nature of submarine warfare and record-keeping practices of the time, she was involved in routine exercises and training maneuvers designed to improve the effectiveness of the Royal Navy's submarine fleet. H31 participated in fleet exercises and was maintained in operational readiness throughout her service.

HMS H31 was sold for scrap in February 1944.
