HMS Calder

HMS Calder was the name of two ships of the British Royal Navy:

• HMS Calder (K349): A Captain-class frigate of the Evarts type. She was launched in 1943 and served during World War II. Notably, she participated in anti-submarine warfare operations and was credited with sinking the German submarine U-767 in June 1944. Calder was returned to the United States Navy in 1945.

• HMS Calder (F86): A Type 21 frigate. She was commissioned in 1975 and decommissioned in 1994. During her service, she participated in various exercises and patrols. After decommissioning, she was sold to Pakistan and renamed Badr.
