Grossology (TV series)

Grossology is a Canadian animated television series produced by Nelvana and based on the non-fiction children's book series of the same name by Sylvia Branzei. The series premiered on Discovery Kids on January 3, 2006, and later aired on YTV in Canada.

The show centers on the adventures of Abby Archer and Ty Archer, siblings who work as secret agents for a covert organization known as the Grossology Lab. Their mission is to investigate and combat gross and disgusting events and phenomena, often involving the human body and its various functions.

Abby is a skilled scientist and inventor, while Ty is an adventurous and athletic individual. Together, they use their unique abilities to solve cases related to topics such as body odor, slime, mucus, and various other bodily fluids and functions that are generally considered repulsive.

The series incorporates scientific facts and concepts into its storylines, educating viewers about biology and the human body in an entertaining and engaging manner. Recurring villains, such as Fartor and Sloppy Joe, often attempt to exploit gross substances or create disgusting situations for their own nefarious purposes, providing a consistent source of conflict for the Archer siblings.
