Goppili
Goppili is a village and a Mandal (administrative division) in the Vizianagaram district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is part of the Bobbili revenue division. Goppili is primarily an agricultural area, with rice and other crops being the main source of income for the local population.
Geographically, Goppili is situated in a region with fertile land and a network of irrigation canals drawing water from local rivers and reservoirs, contributing to the agricultural productivity of the area. The village and Mandal also feature a number of temples and local festivals that are significant to the cultural and religious life of the community.
Administratively, Goppili Mandal is responsible for the governance and development of a cluster of villages, including Goppili itself. The Mandal office oversees various functions such as land revenue collection, implementation of government schemes, and maintenance of local infrastructure. The area's political representation is through elected officials at the Mandal, district, and state levels. Access to education and healthcare are ongoing concerns, with the local government and other organizations working to improve these services for the residents of Goppili and surrounding villages.
