George Moraes (field hockey)
George Moraes (born 1916, date of death unknown) was an Indian field hockey player. He represented India at the 1936 Summer Olympics in Berlin, where the team won the gold medal. Moraes played as a goalkeeper and was a member of the team for the entire tournament, although he did not play in any of the matches. Richard Allen was the primary goalkeeper for India during that Olympics. Information on his subsequent life and career after the 1936 Olympics is scarce.
