George Haddock (baseball)

George Haddock (born March 26, 1866, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; died August 2, 1926, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) was an American professional baseball player who played pitcher in Major League Baseball from 1885 to 1893. He played for the Philadelphia Athletics (American Association) (1885, 1890), Baltimore Orioles (American Association) (1890), Philadelphia Phillies (1891-1893), and Louisville Colonels (1893). Haddock's career included a complete game shutout victory over Pud Galvin and the Pittsburgh Alleghenys in 1885. He was primarily a pitcher, but also occasionally played outfield. He played college baseball at the University of Pennsylvania.
