GB News is owned by All Perspectives Limited, a company majority-owned by Legatum Ventures. Andrew Neil served as the channel's chairman and lead presenter at its launch, but he resigned from the position in September 2021.

It has faced criticism for perceived right-leaning bias and the promotion of misinformation, while its supporters argue that it provides a platform for underrepresented voices and perspectives.
