Frequency (TV series)

Frequency is an American science fiction crime drama television series that aired on The CW from October 5, 2016, to January 25, 2017. It was inspired by the 2000 film of the same name.

The series centers on NYPD Detective Raimy Sullivan, who discovers she can communicate with her deceased father, Frank Sullivan, a fellow NYPD officer, via his old ham radio. The communications occur across a 20-year time gap. Raimy is in 2016, while Frank is in 1996.

As they work together across time to solve an old unsolved murder case, they inadvertently trigger unintended and devastating consequences in both timelines, forcing them to navigate the ripple effects of their actions to try and alter the past and the present for the better, while also working to save Frank's life and prevent Raimy's mother's murder.

The series stars Peyton List as Raimy Sullivan, Riley Smith as Frank Sullivan, Mekhi Phifer as Satch Reyna, Devin Kelley as Julie Sullivan, Anthony Ruivivar as Stan Moreno, Lenny Jacobson as Gordo, and Daniel Bonjour as Daniel Lawrence.

Despite initial interest, the series suffered from low ratings. On May 8, 2017, The CW canceled the series after one season.
