Flower of Evil (Philippine TV series)

Flower of Evil is a Philippine television drama series broadcast by Kapamilya Channel and A2Z. It is a remake of the South Korean drama of the same name. The series premiered on June 20, 2022, and concluded on August 26, 2022.

The series stars Lovi Poe and Piolo Pascual in the lead roles. It tells the story of Jacob (Piolo Pascual), a man with a hidden past who lives under a fabricated identity. He works as a metal craftsman and is married to Iris (Lovi Poe), a detective. Iris begins to investigate a series of unsolved murders that bear a striking resemblance to the crimes her husband is suspected of committing years prior, leading her to question everything she thought she knew about him and their marriage. The series explores themes of trust, deception, family, and redemption.

The Philippine adaptation retained some of the core plot points and character dynamics of the original South Korean drama, but also incorporated elements specific to the Philippine context and culture. It was directed by Darnel Villaflor and Richard Arellano. The series received generally positive reviews, with praise directed at the performances of the lead actors and the production quality.
