Edgar Castillo (Bolivian footballer)

Edgar Castillo (born February 8, 1986) is a Bolivian professional footballer who primarily plays as a left-back or left midfielder. He is also capable of playing as a winger.

Castillo was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico, in the United States, and holds both American and Mexican citizenship. He previously represented the United States at the international level, earning several caps. However, in 2023, he obtained Bolivian citizenship through his mother and was called up to the Bolivian national team.

Castillo's professional career has included stints with various clubs in Mexico, including Santos Laguna, Club América, Tigres UANL, Atlas, and Monterrey. He has also played for clubs in the United States, including the Colorado Rapids and the New England Revolution in Major League Soccer (MLS).
