Eddie Moore (baseball)

Eddie Moore (born October 21, 1955) is a former professional baseball player. He played primarily as a utility player, appearing at multiple positions including shortstop, second base, and third base. Moore played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1980 to 1987.

Moore's MLB career included stints with the Atlanta Braves (1980-1983), Kansas City Royals (1984-1986), and Detroit Tigers (1987). He was a member of the 1985 Kansas City Royals team that won the World Series, contributing as a role player.

Before reaching the major leagues, Moore played in the minor leagues. Following his MLB career, he was involved in coaching and other baseball-related activities. He is remembered as a versatile player who contributed to his teams in various capacities.
