Eburella

Eburella is a genus of extinct brachiopods belonging to the order Orthotetida. Fossils of Eburella have been found in Ordovician-aged strata. These brachiopods are characterized by their biconvex shells and relatively simple, often lacking, ornamentation. They are important index fossils for certain Ordovician geological formations, aiding in biostratigraphic correlation.
