Doug White (baseball)

Doug White (born August 29, 1979) is a former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Colorado Rockies, Toronto Blue Jays, and Houston Astros.

White attended Mississippi State University, where he played college baseball. The Rockies selected him in the 10th round of the 2000 MLB draft.

He made his major league debut with the Colorado Rockies on April 26, 2005. White was primarily used as a relief pitcher throughout his career. He pitched for the Rockies until 2007, then was traded to the Toronto Blue Jays. After his stint with the Blue Jays, he joined the Houston Astros, where he finished his MLB career.

After retiring from professional baseball, White has been involved in coaching and baseball instruction.
