Doleham

Doleham is a small, rural village and civil parish in the Rother district of East Sussex, England. It is located approximately six miles (9.7 km) east of Battle and is situated near the Brede Valley.

The village's name is believed to derive from Old English, possibly meaning "dole homestead" or "homestead associated with a share of land". Historically, Doleham was primarily an agricultural community.

Doleham contains a small church dedicated to St. Michael and All Angels, which dates back to the Norman period. The church features examples of medieval architecture.
