Crazy Star (film)

Crazy Star is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language romantic action film directed, written and co-produced by V. Ravichandran. He also stars in the lead role alongside Priyanka Upendra and Rekha Vedavyas. Manjula Sharma also plays a supporting role. The film is a remake of the 2001 Tamil film, Minnale, directed by Gautham Menon.

The film revolves around Ravichandran's character, a college student, and his romantic pursuit of Nandini (Priyanka Upendra), whom he initially mistakes for someone else. Circumstances and misunderstandings complicate their relationship. Crazy Star features a soundtrack composed by V. Ravichandran himself.

The film released to mixed to positive reviews, with praise directed towards Ravichandran's performance and the film's visuals, but criticism aimed at its lengthy runtime and faithfulness to the original source material.
