Charles Brown (cricketer, born 1854)

Charles Brown (born 29 November 1854, date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played first-class cricket for Gloucestershire between 1876 and 1880.

A right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium-pace bowler, Brown played in 14 first-class matches for Gloucestershire, mostly in the middle order. He scored 320 runs with a highest score of 64, which he made against Kent in 1879. He took one wicket.

Little is known of Brown's life outside cricket. He was born in Bristol. His last recorded match was in August 1880 against Lancashire at Clifton College Close Ground.
