Carl Davis (American football)
Carl Davis (born February 27, 1992) is an American football defensive tackle who is currently a free agent. He played college football at Iowa. He was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2015 NFL Draft.
Davis played high school football at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois. He was a highly-rated recruit.
At Iowa, Davis was a four-year letterman. He played in 47 games, starting 31. He recorded 133 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss, and 5.5 sacks. He was named second-team All-Big Ten as a senior.
The Baltimore Ravens selected Davis with the 90th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He played for the Ravens for two seasons, from 2015 to 2016.
In 2017, Davis was traded to the Indianapolis Colts. He was waived by the Colts later that year.
Davis signed with the Cleveland Browns in 2018. He played in 12 games for the Browns that season.
In 2019, he signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was released by the Jaguars.
Davis signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2020.
Since then, he has had brief stints with various NFL teams.
