In 1986, CHFI-FM transitioned to a soft adult contemporary format.

In 2007, CTVglobemedia acquired CHUM Limited, and in 2011, Rogers Communications acquired CTVglobemedia's broadcasting assets, including CHUM-FM. At this point the call letters changed to CHRS-FM.
KiSS 105.7 is a consistently popular radio station in the Toronto market, known for playing current hit music and featuring on-air personalities. It competes with other Top 40 stations such as CKIS-FM (KiSS 92.5) and CIDC-FM (Z103.5).
