Bob Lloyd (basketball)

Bob Lloyd (born January 3, 1946) is a retired American professional basketball player. A 6'6" guard/forward from Rutgers University, Lloyd was selected by the Detroit Pistons in the 5th round (69th overall) of the 1968 NBA draft. He played in the American Basketball Association (ABA) for the Denver Rockets, Carolina Cougars, and Virginia Squires from 1968 to 1973.

Lloyd was a significant scorer and playmaker during his ABA career, averaging a career-high 17.8 points per game with the Cougars in the 1970-71 season. He was known for his outside shooting and versatility.
