Black Crab (film)

Black Crab is a 2022 Swedish action thriller film directed by Adam Berg, written by Adam Berg and Pelle Rådström, and starring Noomi Rapace. The film is set in a post-apocalyptic Sweden ravaged by war. A soldier, Caroline Edh (played by Rapace), is tasked with a dangerous mission to transport two mysterious capsules across a frozen archipelago in order to end the conflict.

The plot centers around a desperate, near-future scenario where a prolonged winter and relentless fighting have brought society to the brink of collapse. Caroline, facing personal tragedy and driven by the promise of seeing her daughter again, joins a team of soldiers on a perilous ice-skating mission to deliver a package to a research facility located on a distant island. They face enemy soldiers, treacherous conditions, and moral dilemmas as they try to complete their mission. The film explores themes of survival, sacrifice, and the human cost of war. Black Crab was released on Netflix on March 18, 2022.
