Bill Meyer (basketball)

Bill Meyer was an American basketball player. He played college basketball for the Hamline Pipers in the 1950s. A 6'8" center, Meyer was notable for his height and scoring ability. He was drafted by the Minneapolis Lakers in the 1954 NBA draft. While drafted, he never played in the NBA. He became a teacher and coach, continuing his involvement with basketball at the high school level.
