Andrew Chalmers (rugby league)

Andrew Chalmers is a businessman and administrator associated with rugby league. He is best known for his involvement with the Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls rugby league clubs.

Chalmers served as chairman of the Leeds Rhinos from 1996 to 2002, a period during which the club experienced significant success, including winning the Super League Grand Final in 2004 (although his chairmanship ended prior to this specific victory, he laid some foundations). He later became the chairman of the Bradford Bulls.

His tenure at Bradford was marked by financial difficulties and eventual administration. Chalmers' ownership was ultimately controversial due to the club's relegation and ongoing struggles. The club went into administration and was eventually liquidated.
