Alexander King (German politician)

Alexander King (born November 14, 1975) is a German politician of the Christian Social Union in Bavaria (CSU).

King was born in Fürth. He studied law at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, passing his first state examination in 2001 and his second state examination in 2003. He then worked as a lawyer.

King has been a member of the Landtag of Bavaria since 2018, representing the constituency of Erlangen-Höchstadt. In the Landtag, he serves on the Committee on Constitutional Affairs, Law and Parliamentary Affairs. His political focus includes legal matters, internal security, and homeland security. He also sits on the parliamentary inquiry into the "Mask Deal" scandal involving alleged corruption in the procurement of face masks during the COVID-19 pandemic.

King is a member of the CSU district board for Middle Franconia. He also holds various positions within the local government of Erlangen-Höchstadt.
