Alpha Rev

Alpha Rev was an American alternative rock band formed in Austin, Texas in 2005. The band was fronted by Casey McPherson and known for its blend of rock, pop, and orchestral arrangements.

Alpha Rev released two studio albums: "The Greatest Thing I've Ever Learned" in 2007 and "New Morning" in 2010. "New Morning" achieved moderate success, reaching number 131 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band's music often explored themes of love, loss, and self-discovery.

The group toured extensively throughout the United States, opening for acts such as Blue October and Robert Randolph. Alpha Rev's live performances were characterized by McPherson's emotive vocals and the band's dynamic instrumentation, which often included strings.

Alpha Rev disbanded in 2013. Casey McPherson went on to pursue other musical projects, including the band Flying Colors and a solo career. While relatively short-lived, Alpha Rev garnered a dedicated following and remains remembered for its distinct sound and passionate performances.
