Agelaia

Agelaia is a genus of eusocial wasps belonging to the family Vespidae, subfamily Polistinae. They are found primarily in the Neotropical region of the Americas, ranging from Mexico to Argentina. Agelaia wasps are characterized by their large colony sizes, often containing thousands of individuals, and their aggressive defensive behavior.

Characteristics:
