3rd Tactical Airlift Group (JASDF)

The 3rd Tactical Airlift Group (第3輸送航空隊, Dai-3 Yusō Kōkūtai) is a unit of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF). It is part of the Air Support Command's 2nd Air Wing and is based at Miho Air Base in Tottori Prefecture, Japan.

The group's primary mission is tactical airlift, providing transport of personnel, equipment, and supplies in support of JASDF and other Japanese Self-Defense Forces operations. It also participates in humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts, both domestically and internationally.

The 3rd Tactical Airlift Group operates Kawasaki C-2 transport aircraft. These aircraft are capable of carrying large payloads over long distances, enhancing the JASDF's airlift capabilities.
