2nd (Sialkot) Cavalry Brigade

The 2nd (Sialkot) Cavalry Brigade was a cavalry brigade of the British Indian Army during World War I. It was formed in the Sialkot area of British India (now part of Pakistan) in 1914. The brigade's primary function was internal security and maintaining order within the Sialkot district and surrounding areas.

Upon the outbreak of World War I, the brigade's constituent regiments were deployed to various theaters of war. It did not operate as a cohesive brigade-level formation on active service during the war. The individual cavalry regiments that were part of the brigade were reassigned to different divisions and fronts, including service in Mesopotamia and on the Western Front.

After the war, with the reorganization of the British Indian Army, the brigade was disbanded. The regiments that had comprised it continued their service in various capacities within the Indian Army structure. The exact date of disbandment is not readily available in easily accessible sources, but it occurred sometime after the conclusion of World War I.
