2020 Canadian Open (curling)
The 2020 Canadian Open was a Grand Slam of Curling tournament held from January 14 to 19 at the Gallagher Centre in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. It was the fourth Grand Slam event and the third major of the 2019–20 season.
The event featured 16 of the top men's and 16 of the top women's teams from around the world competing for a combined purse of $300,000. Teams qualified for the event based on their position on the World Curling Tour's Order of Merit ranking system.
In the men's final, Brad Jacobs defeated Brendan Bottcher to win the title. In the women's final, Anna Hasselborg defeated Tracy Fleury to claim the championship.
This tournament was significant as one of the last major curling events held before the COVID-19 pandemic significantly impacted the sport's schedule and the accessibility of international competition.
