2011 Torneo Apertura (Primera B de Chile)
The 2011 Torneo Apertura of the Primera B de Chile was the first tournament of the 2011 season of the second-highest professional football league in Chile, the Primera B. It formed part of the larger 2011 Chilean Primera B season, along with the subsequent Torneo Clausura. The Apertura tournament determined one of the two teams that would be directly promoted to the Primera División at the end of the season. The winner of the Apertura tournament would play against the winner of the Clausura tournament. If the same team won both tournaments, they would be automatically promoted, and the runner-up from the annual table would play a promotion playoff against the team finishing second-to-last in the Primera División. The tournament consisted of a single round-robin format, with each team playing every other team once. The team with the most points at the end of the round was declared the champion.
