1979–80 DDR-Oberliga (ice hockey) season
The 1979–80 DDR-Oberliga season was the 32nd season of the DDR-Oberliga, the top level of ice hockey in East Germany (German Democratic Republic). SC Dynamo Berlin won the league championship, their second consecutive title. The season featured a round-robin format with the top teams from the previous season competing for the championship. Playoff formats were not yet in use in the DDR-Oberliga.
