Zimenqiao

Zimenqiao (Chinese: 子门桥; pinyin: Zǐménqiáo) is a subdistrict (街道, jiēdào) located in Nanjing, Jiangsu province, China. It is administered under the Xuanwu District.

Zimenqiao is primarily a residential and commercial area. The name "Zimenqiao" literally translates to "Son Gate Bridge" (or "Child Gate Bridge"). Historical records indicate a bridge formerly stood in the area, likely contributing to the name's origin.
