Tozo (footballer)

Tozo, born Agostinho Miguel de Carvalho Soares (born January 18, 1986), is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays primarily as a left-back.

Tozo has spent the majority of his career in the Portuguese LigaPro and Primeira Liga. He began his professional career with Varzim S.C., and has since played for a variety of clubs including Rio Ave F.C., CS Marítimo, Vitória de Guimarães, and Moreirense F.C.. He is known for his work rate and consistency as a defender.

While he has not earned caps for the Portugal national team, Tozo has been a reliable player at the club level throughout his career in Portuguese football. His career has been marked by a strong presence in the Portuguese leagues, often contributing to his teams' defensive solidity. He is primarily a defensive player, but can also contribute to the attack, offering width and crosses from the left flank.
