Tom Barton (politician)
Tom Barton (born circa 1947) is a former American politician from Missouri. He served as a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 109 (Jefferson County) from 2007 to 2015.
Prior to his time in the Missouri House, Barton served on the Jefferson County Council. His legislative service focused on issues such as education, healthcare, and economic development within his district. He was known for his work on legislation related to senior citizens and environmental protection.
During his time in office, Barton served on several House committees, including the Transportation Committee and the Conservation and Natural Resources Committee. He was a vocal advocate for funding for local schools and infrastructure projects.
