The Great Indian Murder (TV series)

The Great Indian Murder is a Hindi-language crime thriller web series based on Vikas Swarup's novel Six Suspects. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, it premiered on Disney+ Hotstar on February 4, 2022.

The series revolves around the investigation into the murder of Vicky Rai, the playboy son of a powerful politician, Jagannath Rai. Vicky is murdered at a party, and six suspects, each with their own motives and secrets, become the focus of the investigation.

The series follows the intertwined stories of these six individuals, each representing a different stratum of Indian society, as detectives Suraj Yadav and Sudha Bharadwaj attempt to unravel the truth behind Vicky Rai's murder. The investigation explores themes of power, corruption, justice, and social inequality in India.

The cast includes Richa Chadha, Pratik Gandhi, Ashutosh Rana, Raghubir Yadav, and Shashank Arora, among others.
