The Family (Brockhampton album)

The Family is the seventh and purported final studio album by American hip hop collective Brockhampton. It was released on November 17, 2022, via Question Everything, Inc. and RCA Records.

The album is primarily centered around the group's founder, Kevin Abstract, and delves into the internal conflicts, tensions, and eventual dissolution of the group. Unlike previous Brockhampton projects that featured contributions from multiple members, "The Family" is largely a solo effort by Abstract, interspersed with recordings of group discussions and arguments surrounding their future.

The album's release was accompanied by the announcement of another Brockhampton album, TM, which was released the following day and credited to the entire group. These releases followed a period of uncertainty regarding the group's status, following their indefinite hiatus announcement in early 2022. The Family serves as a retrospective and a confessional, offering insight into the band's creative process and the personal dynamics that ultimately led to their break-up.
