Stan Mitchell (Australian footballer)

Stan Mitchell was an Australian rules footballer who played with Footscray in the Victorian Football League (VFL).

Mitchell played two senior games for Footscray in the 1928 VFL season. A rover, he debuted in Round 15 against Geelong and also played in Round 16 against Hawthorn. He did not play any further senior VFL games. Information beyond these two games is scarce.
