Scott Foster (basketball)

Scott Foster (born March 17, 1967) is an American professional basketball referee in the National Basketball Association (NBA). He wears jersey number 48. Foster has officiated over 1,600 regular season games, as well as numerous playoff games, including NBA Finals games.

Foster began his NBA officiating career in the 1994-95 season. He has been involved in several high-profile games and has been recognized for his experience and knowledge of the rules. However, he is also a figure who often draws both praise and criticism from players, coaches, and fans, often being the subject of discussion regarding perceived biases or tendencies during games.
