Ron Stone (New Zealand footballer)

Ron Stone (born 1941) is a former New Zealand international football (soccer) player.

Stone represented New Zealand in six official A-international matches between 1967 and 1968. He made his debut in a 5-3 win over New Caledonia on 3 December 1967 and ended his international career with a 3-1 win over Australia on 27 November 1968. He scored one goal for his country in a 2-2 draw with New Caledonia on 10 December 1967.

He also played club football, notably for Stop Out, a prominent club in the Wellington region. Further information on his club career is limited, but sources indicate he was a key player during his time there.
