Rebound (American TV series)
Rebound was an American television series that aired as a summer replacement series on CBS in 1952. The series consisted of 13 half-hour episodes.
The show starred Larry Pennell as Lt. Kagey, a young, ambitious cop, and Barbara Britton as Liz, a reporter. Each week, the duo teamed up to solve crimes in an unnamed American city. The series was a police procedural drama that focused on street-level crime. Although a summer replacement show, "Rebound" was a fairly standard example of the television crime dramas popular in the early 1950s.
The series was filmed in New York City, which was a common production hub for early television programs. Due to the limitations of live television production at the time, each episode had a relatively simple format and storyline. The show was not renewed for a second season. Information about surviving episodes is scarce, but it is likely that only a few episodes, if any, remain in existence.
