Ray Austin (American football)

Ray Austin (born July 13, 1984) is a former American football cornerback. He played college football at Virginia Tech and was drafted by the New York Jets in the fourth round of the 2006 NFL Draft.

Austin played for the New York Jets from 2006 to 2008. He was then traded to the Dallas Cowboys in 2009, where he played for one season. After his time with the Cowboys, Austin signed with the Miami Dolphins in 2010, but was released before the season started. He then signed with the Indianapolis Colts in 2011, but was also released.

Throughout his NFL career, Austin was primarily a reserve cornerback and special teams player.
