Mike Gilbert (rugby)

Mike Gilbert is a former Welsh international rugby union player. He played primarily as a centre.

Gilbert was capped for Wales on 5 occasions between 1984 and 1985. He made his debut against Romania in Bucharest in November 1984. He also played against England, Scotland and Ireland in the 1985 Five Nations Championship, and against Romania again in November 1985.

At club level, Gilbert played for South Wales Police RFC. He was a key player for the Police team during his playing career. Further details about his club career or life outside of rugby are scarce.
