Lulu Johnson (politician)
Lulu Johnson (born October 28, 1963) is an American politician and educator who served as a Democratic member of the Montana House of Representatives for District 43, representing the Bonner and East Missoula areas, from 2013 to 2021.
Johnson holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Montana. Before entering the legislature, she worked as a teacher and administrator. Her legislative priorities included education funding, environmental protection, and social justice issues.
During her time in the Montana House, Johnson served on several committees, including the Education Committee, the Natural Resources Committee, and the State Administration Committee. She was known for her advocacy for public schools and her work on legislation related to water rights and land conservation. She opted not to run for re-election in 2020.
