Loose Talk (British TV series)

Loose Talk was a daytime television talk show broadcast on ITV in the United Kingdom. It ran from 1983 to 1986. The show was produced by Yorkshire Television.

Loose Talk featured a rotating panel of presenters, typically four women, discussing current affairs, celebrity gossip, fashion, beauty, and other topics of interest to a daytime audience. The format was generally lighthearted and conversational, with a focus on the presenters' personal opinions and experiences.

Notable presenters who appeared on Loose Talk included Janet Street-Porter, Lynda La Plante (best known as a writer), and Diane Oxberry (later a weather presenter for BBC North West Tonight).

The show's success led to similar daytime talk shows, although Loose Talk is not directly related to the more well-known Loose Women, which started broadcasting on ITV in 1999.
