Konyin

Konyin is a Yoruba name, primarily given to females. It is a shortened version of the name "Olukunyin," which translates roughly to "God gives me honey," "God has given me sweetness," or "God has given me something sweet/valuable." The name expresses gratitude to the divine for a blessing or gift, often the child themselves. Konyin retains this meaning of sweetness and divine favor.
