John Mallard (cricketer)

John Mallard (born 10 March 1936) is a former English first-class cricketer. He played primarily as a right-handed batsman for Worcestershire County Cricket Club between 1956 and 1965. Mallard appeared in 167 first-class matches, scoring 5,892 runs at an average of 22.82, with a highest score of 143. He also took 29 catches in the field. While not a regular bowler, he bowled occasionally, taking 2 wickets at an average of 32.50. His career was spent entirely at Worcestershire.
