Joe Lynch (director)

Joe Lynch is an American film and television director, producer, and actor, primarily known for his work in the horror and action genres. He gained prominence for his feature film directorial debut, Wrong Turn 2: Dead End (2007), a sequel in the Wrong Turn franchise.

Lynch has directed a variety of films, including Knights of Badassdom (2013), a fantasy-comedy film; Everly (2014), an action thriller starring Salma Hayek; and Mayhem (2017), an action-horror film featuring Steven Yeun and Samara Weaving.

In addition to his film work, Lynch has directed episodes of several television series, including Holliston, Shameless, From Dusk till Dawn: The Series, Black Summer, and Creepshow. He has also contributed to horror anthologies such as Chillerama (2011), co-directing the "The Diary of Anne Frankenstein" segment.

Lynch is also involved in podcasting. He co-hosted "The Movie Crypt" podcast with Adam Green for several years, featuring interviews with filmmakers, actors, and other industry professionals.
