Jijiga (woreda)

Jijiga is a woreda (district) located in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. It is considered a special woreda, meaning it is administered separately from other woredas due to its unique status. Jijiga woreda entirely surrounds the city of Jijiga, the capital of the Somali Region. It is administratively distinct from the city itself.
