Jeff Glor
Jeff Glor is an American journalist and news anchor. He is best known for having anchored the CBS Evening News from 2017 to 2019.
Prior to anchoring the CBS Evening News, Glor served as a CBS News correspondent and regularly contributed to various CBS News programs, including CBS This Morning and 60 Minutes. He has covered a wide range of significant national and international events, including presidential elections, the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, and numerous natural disasters.
Glor joined CBS News in 2007 after working at WHDH-TV in Boston and other local news stations. He has received several Emmy Awards and other accolades for his reporting. After leaving the anchor chair at the CBS Evening News, he continued to work for CBS News as a special correspondent, focusing on long-form stories and in-depth reporting. He later became a contributing anchor and reporter for MSNBC.
